College Opening Ceremony 2009-2010: This took place in the Chalmers Hall, Free Church College, on Monday, September 7, 2009 at 7.30 pm when the opening address was given by Professor John L. Mackay on the topic of 'God the Warrior'.

A presentation was also made on the evening to Professor Donald M. MacDonald who is retiring from his post as Professor of Practical Theology and Apologetics. A fuller account of his contribution to the College will be posted later.

Edinburgh Dogmatics Conference: This took place in the Free Church College, August 24-27, 2009.

Mamillan Lecture in Evangelism: The biennial MacMillan Lecture in Evangelism was inaugurated in 1994 in memory of the late Professor J Douglas MacMillan.  The most recent lecture took place on 28 October 2008 when Rev Martin Allan spoke on Local Evangelism in Scotland. The next Macmillan Lecture will be in October 2010 when Professor Paul Helm will give the lecture. More details nearer the time.
